The Density of Water

This PDF outlines a simple way to measure the density of water, requiring only an accurate scale and an accurate way to measure volume. Essentially, I ran water out of a burette (recording the volume to 0.01mL) into a beaker, then weighed the beaker (to 0.01g), then graphed the results.

At 20°C, the density of water is 0.9982 g/mL, so my average result of 0.996 g/mL was about 0.4% out.
